Behavior change

Dealing with presenteeism also depends on one’s own attitude. That’s why we’ll conclude with a look at behavioral change. We all know the saying (slightly adapted):

"What you can start today, you will succeed in tomorrow."

You have already dealt extensively with the topic of presenteeism and participated in the first two sessions. Now several months have passed since the start of the first session. This is the time it takes to achieve a change.

The e-learning has guided you through different stages based on the “Transtheoretical Model of Behavior Change”. The model is structured in a total of five stages:

No intention of behavior change

Awareness about problem, but no binding actions yet

  

Will to change and plan the action

Active modification of the behavior

Sustaining change: defining the new behavior

You may now be in the action stage or perhaps still in the preparation stage.

Keep at it and take time regularly to do something good for your health at work.
